PROFESSIONAL DESTINATION
For cafés navigating rising competition and evolving customer expectations, the right partnerships have never been more important. Now, Miko Coffee is raising the bar with the launch of a flagship London showroom, designed to bring together equipment, expertise and innovation in one dynamic space.
After a three-year search, the company has secured a prime South Bank location in the capital, just a 10-minute walk from Waterloo Station and overlooking the OXO Tower. But this isn’t just about geography, it’s about creating a destination for professionals.
“This has been a long-term vision for us,” said Adrian Stagg, managing director at Miko UK. “We wanted a central space where people can experience everything we offer – not to just see it but really engage. London was the natural choice but finding the right location took time because it had to work for both our teams and customers.”
Miko’s proposition has always extended beyond equipment supply.
Traditional espresso machines, bean-to-cup systems, filter and instant coffee solutions, alongside grinders and water boilers are available in a variety of specifications. And with equipment maintenance and servicing, technical support and certified barista training also on offer, the company supports operators across the full coffee journey.
Working with leading manufacturers including Bravilor, Rex Royal, Rancilio, Evoca and Eureka, Miko ensures every solution is tailored to the individual business, supported by expert guidance throughout the selection process. In partnership with Jaguar Espresso, the latest addition to the collection is the Iberital range of traditional coffee machines, including the Iberital IB7 – a compact, robust machine, ideal when counter space is limited.

DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS
The new showroom brings the total Miko offer to life.
“Our goal was simple: bring everything together under one roof,” added Stagg. “Whether you’re an independent café owner or managing a national estate, you can come here and explore the full Miko offer in one visit.”
Visitors can discover:
- Professional beverage-making equipment for every style of service.
- Portioli traditional Italian coffee blends and the Fairtrade organic Puro range.
- Miko Freehand and Hand Roasted small-batch, speciality coffee ranges from the company’s own UK roasteries.
- How we develop signature coffee blends tailored for specific customer profiles.
- SHOTT super concentrates and seasonal recipe collections.
Crucially, the space unites Miko’s business divisions, including office coffee, foodservice, leisure and hospitality, allowing operators to see how concepts translate across different environments.
Once accredited, it will serve as a dedicated barista training centre, alongside a SHOTT menu development space where operators can experiment with drinks and flavours. There is also a technical training area and centralised parts hub to strengthen aftercare support.
“This isn’t a showroom where everything sits behind glass,” continued Stagg. “It’s hands-on. We want customers pulling shots, testing equipment and developing menus, because that’s what ultimately drives up margins and delivers better results in their own businesses.”

NATIONAL SUPPORT
While the capital provides a focal point, Miko’s infrastructure stretches across the UK, with regional offices in Redruth, Exeter, Sheffield and Glasgow, supported by three roasteries producing fresh, small-batch coffee.
The London site enhances that network, offering a central meeting point for customers and a strategic base for training and technical support.
“For us, it’s about accessibility. Having one location means our teams and customers can come together much more easily. It strengthens collaboration and ultimately helps us deliver a better service.”
Set within a newly refitted space, complete with breakout areas and a roof terrace, the showroom has been created to encourage creativity as much as conversation.
While the new London showroom signals Miko’s future focus, its foundations stretch back more than two centuries. Founded in Turnhout, Belgium, Miko Coffee has grown from a family-run roastery into one of Europe’s leading coffee specialists, operating in over 40 countries.
“For us, heritage isn’t just a story, it underpins everything we do today,” continued Stagg. “From sourcing and roasting to equipment and training, that depth of experience gives our customers confidence they’re working with a partner who understands coffee inside out.”
